The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation of its 101 assisted living apartments and other spaces. The planned improvements include a fully renovated lobby, main dining room, café, and bar, as well as upgraded corridors and residences with improved bathrooms, kitchenettes, flooring, and lighting. The facility is also exploring the possibility of adding a dedicated memory care neighborhood. Laura Holden, the new senior executive director, aims to offer upscale residences, resort-style amenities, and distinctive lifestyle options. The community recently introduced a fitness program and a virtual reality platform for residents. Along with assisted living and respite care, the facility offers onsite skilled nursing.
